How to upload your model for sale
To begin selling your work, you must first create an account with us. This takes less than a minute and can be done by selecting 'Register' from the navigation bar, then enter your relevant details.
Once you are signed in, select '+Add New Model' under the Model Options list. Use the three step process to upload your model:
Step 1: Describe your model
Step 2: Upload your 3D model
Step 3: Upload relevant pictures
After your model is successfully uploaded, it only takes a few minutes before your work is online and will appear in the search results ready to sell!
Pricing your work
Models should be priced in US dollars. All models published on Cadooku must be given a price before they can be published. We do not publish free models. It is your own decision how to price your models, however we offer a pricing strategy to help.
You can always edit and remove your uploaded 3D models. From your account page select 'List Your Models' from the Model Options list and select the appropriate action as necessary. Edited details will be visible straight away.

File Formats
Cadooku supports the following file types for sale:
Solidworks Part (.sldprt), Solidworks Assembly (.sldasm), IGES, STEP, STL
NB. The file format must be specified during the upload process
Preparing Your Models For Sale
3D Models
If you are intending to upload more than one model at a time ( i.e. an assembly containing more than one part) it is recommended that you use the 'pack and go' option, from within SOLIDWORKS®, to compress all the files into one. Alternativley, you can group all the relevant files into one folder, then compress the folder into a ZIP (.zip) or RAR (.rar) format.
Uploading your models in more than one format may help to sell the model.
Preview images
These images will be used to help advertise your model and visualise it in its best light. We recommend that you provide at least three images per model: a rendered perspective view, a screen shot of the feature tree and one or more orthographic views.
The primary image for your model will default to the first image you upload. The best image size to upload is 500 x 500 pixels as these will not be scaled. Accepted image formats are .jpg, .gif and .png files.
Support and Services of Product
You are required to support your own 3D model when problems arise. We will notify you of any problems reported by email.
Payment
You will receive 70% of the royalty of each sale made. Payment will be made to the vendor, through PayPal, between the 20th and 21st of each month. We will be issuing cheques in the near future.
NB. There is a seven day lead time between the purchase of models and payment. Therefore, if a model was sold between the 13th and 21st, payment for that model will be received the following month.
