Jpeg, giff and png files
Can I upload more than one file at a time?
Yes you can. Simply use all available fields; you can add more fields by clicking on the '+ add another file'.
If you are uploading an assembly file, it is recommended that you use the 'pack and go' option, from within SOLIDWORKS®, to compress all the files together. Alternatively you can compress the files together by using either a ZIP (.zip) or RAR (.rar) format, therefore only requiring you to upload one file.
How do I get paid?
Payments will be made through PayPal between the 20th and 21st of each month. If you sell a model within 7 days prior to the paying period (20th-21st), then you will not be paid until the next month.
NB. PayPal will currently be the only method of payment. We will be issuing cheques in the near future.
Do I have to pay royalties to the creator of a model every time my final product (including the creator's model) is distributed?
No. All royalties are paid at time of purchase. After making the initial royalty payment, you obtain the perpetual usage rights for the model royalty free.
However, your purchase is bound by the other restrictions for model usage and does not include the right to transfer the ownership of the model to someone else, resell the model, or publish it in any file format that is usable by a 3D application.
Can I update my model?
Yes you can - all you need to do is log into your account and select "edit" next to the model you wish to update, then follow the same upload steps you did when you uploaded the original. Model changes can be viewed by clicking on the model name in the list.

How much should I charge for my model?
It is completely your own decision to price your 3D models at reasonable prices. However, if we feel your models are unreasonably priced, we will not alter the price you have chosen, but may suggest a better price, if necessary.
We would suggest, as a rough guide, that models should be priced at around $8 per hour of modelling time. Please also bear in mind what you would be prepared to pay for a model. Complex models to scale, with numerous assembly parts, will be able to be sold at a higher price than simple models, regardless of how long the model took to produce.
What is the best image size to upload?
500 x 500 pixel images are best. If you choose to use a different resolution, please ensure that the images are square.
How do you choose which image is used for the main upload image?
The first picture you upload will be used as your main model image.
What is the maximum number of images I can upload for one CAD model?
There is no limit to how many images you assign to your model.
Once I buy a model from Cadooku, may I change it for my own use?
Absolutely, so long as the modified asset is used within the scope of the Terms and Conditions. The only exception here is, because you have purchased the model, and changed it around by rendering, adding details to it etc, this does not grant you the right to re-distribute and sell that model as your own.
I want to buy a model from the Cadooku library and convert it into a physical 3D object for sale elsewhere. Is this legal?
Yes, unless the seller has different licensing terms in the product description. This use is allowed under the standard license.
